Pictures that explain themselves
GuidedVisual turns a picture people have to puzzle over into one they can ask questions of - a floor plan, a map, a diagram, a photograph.
Why it exists
Most of the pictures that matter most are the hardest to read: the plan of a building you have never been in, the map of a network you do not use, the diagram of a machine you have to service. The usual answer is a legend, a key and a paragraph of text beside the picture - and the reader does the joining up.
GuidedVisual puts the explanation on the picture itself. Point at a room and it tells you what it is. Choose a station and it shows where you can change. Every region carries its own words, pictures and links, and the whole thing can be published or embedded where people already are.
Where it is now
GuidedVisual is in early access. It works, and it is being finished with the people using it, which is why sign-in is by invitation for now and why there is no price yet. It is an independent product, run as a sole proprietorship from India.

- Say only what is trueEvery feature on this site is in the product today. If it is not built, it is not listed - and the two things people ask about most, a WordPress plugin and team collaboration, are named as not built.
- Accessible by defaultA picture that only works with a mouse is broken. Focus follows reading order, every region has a control a keyboard can reach, and the checks run before you publish.
- Private until you publishProjects are yours alone. A published page is reached only by its unguessable link, and we ask search engines not to index share pages or embeds.
- No trackingNo analytics scripts and no advertising. Fonts are served from our own domain, and Smart Trace reads your plans inside your browser, sending no pixels to anyone.
- Frozen, not fragilePublishing freezes a copy. A link you sent last month still shows what you sent, however much the project has changed since.
- Your work stays yoursDownload a backup whenever you like, and delete your account yourself, without writing to anyone.
