Refunds
Last updated
GuidedVisual does not charge for anything today. There is no paid plan, no checkout, and no card details are collected anywhere — so there is nothing to refund. This page sets out what will apply when paid plans arrive, so it is known in advance rather than decided afterwards.
Today: nothing is charged
GuidedVisual is free while it is in development. There is no paid plan, no subscription, no trial that converts into one, and no payment provider connected. The application collects no card, bank or billing details of any kind, and there is no page on which you could enter them.
If you are ever asked to pay for GuidedVisual anywhere other than through a checkout linked from this site, it is not us. Tell us at security@guidedvisual.com.
When paid plans arrive
The terms below are what is intended to apply. They will be confirmed on this page, with the date updated, before anything is charged — and they will never be applied retrospectively to a purchase made under different terms.
Fourteen days on a first purchase
If you pay for GuidedVisual for the first time and it is not what you wanted, ask within 14 days and you will be refunded in full. You do not have to give a reason. This covers the first payment on an account, whether monthly or annual.
Cancelling
You will be able to cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next payment and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Part-used periods are not refunded pro rata, except where the law where you live requires it — in some countries it does, and in those cases the law wins.
When a refund will still be given
- You were charged after cancelling
- You were charged twice for the same period
- A prolonged fault made the service unusable and it was reported at the time
- Somebody used your payment method without permission
When it will not
- Beyond 14 days on a renewal you meant to cancel and did not — although if you have not used the service in that period, ask anyway
- Where an account was ended for breaking the terms of service
- For a plan bought deliberately for a single piece of work and then cancelled, if it was used for that work
Who actually pays it back
Payments will be handled by a payment provider acting as merchant of record, which means your contract for the payment itself is with them. Refunds are issued through the same route, back to the card or account you paid from, and typically appear within 5–10 working days depending on your bank. Their terms will be linked from the checkout, and this page will be kept consistent with them.
How to ask
Write to billing@guidedvisual.com from the address on the account, saying what you would like refunded. You will get a reply within 5 working days, and an approved refund will be started on the day it is agreed.
If you are not happy with the answer, say so — hello@guidedvisual.com reaches the owner directly. Your rights under the consumer law where you live are not affected by anything on this page.
Your work, either way
A refund or a cancellation does not delete anything. Your projects stay in your account, and you can download a complete archive of everything you have made from the dashboard at any time, including after cancelling. If a paid plan ends and you are over the free limits, nothing is deleted: you keep read access and the ability to export, and can bring yourself back under the limits in your own time.
